Yes, I remember reading somewhere that it's hard to believe we exist as a coincidence. There are countless planets and system in our observatory universe and so far, only earth shows life, only earth somehow form not as a giant mass of rock nor just gass, or whatever. How many stars exploded and crash with each other until earth is form? There has to be million or billions of coincidence for elements and materials to crash into each other and somehow form earth. Plus another millions of coincidence for organisms to multiply, die, recreate, and somehow evolved with intelligence. How can it all somehow work out without disintegrating? Without a single error collapsing all system? There just too many coincidence that it's hard to believe that our existance is a coincidence. So yeah, the end of science is metaphysics. xD

I think it's also because, although science may seem to be based entirely on logic and reason, the deeper scientists delve into it, the more they realise there must be a Creator who brought everything into existence and established the laws that govern it. After all, there will always be things that remain unexplained, no matter how deeply we explore.

The end of science is metaphysics.

Surprising as it is, there are a handful of intellectual who believes in it.

They say that the more vast they discovered the universe is, the more they feel how tiny as dust humans are.
