Fantastic story! Qi He is SO fun, this author really knows how to play. He’s so quick with the wordplay and strategies, and I really loved seeing not only exactly what kind of games could have prepared him for the apocalypse but also that perfect strategic synergy after years of fighting together—since the couple only got together/escaped the script’s interference during their last major battle, there was no time to really develop this level of synergistic excellence in the main plotline. The author made a great call on the extras! Qi He and Yan Chuanbai are so talented in a multitude of ways, but especially at pissing other people off and living their best lives. I love them dearly, may they live together happily for a thousand years

I also really enjoyed the system’s growth as a character, as well as the ways in which Qi He intentionally galvanized it into that change—I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a system that directly disavowed being the kind of system it was created to be before? Either they turn out to have been some other entity turned into a system or they reject the idea of being systems entirely, but to explicitly turn on its “superiors” for the sole purpose of living its own life? So interesting. Like, a proper “rejecting my fate” storyline for the system, good for it! Even without a name it had a lot of personality; in some ways, that’s even better? It didn’t need to rely on personification to be an individual
In fact, all of the side characters were great fun. Very unique individuals with hilarious interplays, one of the most genuinely fun apocalypse stories I’ve read that didn’t just ignore the apocalypse setting. Humans are resilient, no matter how bad the situation they Will find the time to be baffled or make jokes. The ratio of people who changed and people who self-destructed was nice, too—enough to feel realistic without getting hung up on the side plots. Pulling a full circle with that “For Those Who Come After” was truly inspired

Perfect ending for our Family of Three. Hehehehe Our ML may be Jealous and Possessive, but unexpectedly know how to make System suddenly happy and worship him to the moon. Lol Aaaaaa what a journey!! The main plot truly have the BEST Action scenes Eveeeeer!!! God everything was Wonderful and Engaging till the end!!!
